Homemade Air Fryer French Bread Pizza

Air Fryer French Bread Pizza is a convenient, easy, and (most importantly) delicious lunch, dinner, or snack! Ready in minutes, you'll have to fry it to believe it! 🤩

Ingredients

  • ½ French bread loaf style or traditional baguette
  • ¼ cup pizza sauce
  • ¼ cup pepperoni
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons cheddar cheese optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (204°C).

  • Slice the French bread in half and flatten it.

  • Prepare the pizza toppings. Get the pizza sauce, pepperoni slices, and shredded mozzarella cheese ready.

  • Put together the French bread pizza. Spread the pizza sauce using a spoon or a brush, sprinkle mozzarella cheese, and add pepperoni slices.

Notes

  • If your air fryer doesn't have a preheating option, you can set the temperature to 380°F (193°C) and then let it cook for 4-5 minutes without food.
  • You can also skip preheating by adding 2-4 minutes to your cooking time. Increment gradually, to prevent burning the pizza.
  • Any type of French bread will do. We used a French bread loaf, but  baguette will also work. In fact, you can fit more slices in the air fryer if you opt for the latter
  • I used a 6-quart Instant Pot Vortex Plus to test the French bread pizza air fryer recipe. Cooking time and temperature may vary depending on your air fryer and the number of servings you are making. For optimal results, begin with the lower end of the suggested cooking time.
