Ingredients
½lbpork tenderloin slicesleftover
2teaspoonschicken or vegetable stockoptional
2tablespoonsGravy for dippingoptional
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 380ºF (193ºC) for 5 minutes.
Prepare the leftover pork tenderloin. While preheating, place the leftover pork tenderloin slices on a piece of aluminum foil. If you have some stock on hand, drizzle the stock over the pork slices. This’ll add extra moisture and flavor during reheating.
Cover with aluminum foil (optional). Gently fold the aluminum foil over the pork slices, creating a packet that helps trap steam and moisture. Make sure the packet is well-sealed to prevent any leaks.
Reheat the pork tenderloin. Place the foil-wrapped pork tenderloin packet in the air fryer basket. You should reheat in batches if you have multiple slices. Slide the basket into the air fryer and reheat the foil-wrapped pork tenderloin at 380ºF (193ºC) for 5 - 10 minutes.
Serve and enjoy! Once reheated to your desired temperature and texture, carefully remove the pork tenderloin slices from the air fryer using silicone tongs. Drizzle any remaining juices from the foil packet over them. Plate up your reheated pork tenderloin, and enjoy the deliciousness!
Notes
The aluminum foil trick is optional but highly recommended to achieve a juicy result.
Check the slices after 5 minutes to ensure they're heated through but not overcooked.
Carefully remove the pork slices from the foil packet for a crispy texture on the outside. Increase the air fryer temperature to 400ºF (204ºC) and air fry the unwrapped pork slices for 2-3 minutes. Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning.
Considering that cooking time varies depending on the meat's thickness (and your air fryer's specs), always check with a meat thermometer if your pork is cooked thoroughly.
If your air fryer doesn't have a preheating option, you can set the temperature to 380°F (193°C) and then let it cook for 4-5 minutes without food.
