How to Air Fry Frozen Spring Rolls?
Use this recipe like a general guide for air frying frozen spring rolls. It can apply to all types of spring rolls: vegetable, pork, chicken, beef, Shanghai, Chinese, Thai, etc.
As long as the size of your spring rolls is similar to what we use in this recipe, (about 3 inches long), the cooking time and temperature should be similar.
Step 1: Preheat your air fryer to 380ºF (193ºC) for 5 minutes.
If your air fryer doesn’t have a preheat mode, you can simply set the temperature to 380ºF (193ºC) and then let it cook for 5 minutes.
Or you can skip this step by adding 2-5 minutes to your cooking time until you air fryer lumpia turns slightly golden brown and crispy.
Step 2: Place the lumpia in the air fryer and lightly brush them with cooking oil.
When the air fryer is preheated, arrange your frozen spring rolls in a single layer in the basket.
💡 Pro Tip: For a slightly amplified crispness and browning, you can brush your frozen spring rolls with cooking oil before air frying.
It isn’t necessary, but we found that it definitely creates a little more browning than you’ll get without the oil.
If you’re trying to keep the calories low, skip the cooking oil; don’t worry, you’re still going to love the air-fried perfection of these rolls.
Air Fried vs Deep Fried Spring Rolls

Fridge – Depending on the filling of your spring rolls, they can last up to 5 days in the fridge after being cooked.
Reheating – To reheat from cold, simply put the spring rolls back into the air fryer and cook at 350ºF (176ºC) for 6 minutes or until the filling is hot and rolls are crisp and slightly browned.
