How to Cook Frozen Sweet Potato Fries in the Air Fryer?
Air frying sweet potato fries is as simple as it gets! In less than 20 minutes, you’ll have the perfect crispy side dish for any air fryer-roasted pork, chicken, beef, or seafood. Follow these five simple steps.
Step 1: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (204°C).
If your air fryer doesn’t have a preheating option, set your desired temperature and then let it cook for 5 minutes without food.
🚨 Important: Reduce the cooking temperature to 380°F (193°C) if you’re using a 4-quart air fryer or smaller. They are hotter due to the heating element being closer to the food.
Step 2: Get the frozen sweet potato fries ready.
Open the bag or package that the frozen sweet potato fries come in while the air fryer preheats.
Step 3: Air fry frozen sweet potato fries for 12-15 minutes.
When the air fryer is preheated, add the sweet potato fries and air fry, tossing the basket occasionally, until the fries are golden and crispy, about 12-15 minutes.
Step 4: Prepare the spicy mayo dipping sauce.
While the fries are air-frying, prepare the dipping sauce. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise and the sriracha and stir until thoroughly combined.
🌶️ Hot Tip: adjust the spiciness of the sauce with adding more sriracha. Start with a small amount and taste the sauce to test!
Otherwise, if you can’t handle spicy food, replace the sriracha sauce with ketchup.
Step 5: Serve and enjoy your air fried frozen sweet potato fries!
Once the frozen sweet potato fries are golden and crispy, carefully transfer them to a plate. Allow them to cool down for a few minutes before enjoying them.
Sweet potato fries shouldn’t be reserved just for dinner! Lunch, and even breakfast foods go well with sweet potato fries!
Because sweet potatoes are loaded with fiber and potassium, they make an awesome and healthy addition to any meal!
